Day 1: AIRPORT - NEGOMBO

Upon your arrival at Colombo International Airport in Sri Lanka, you will be welcomed and assisted by a representative of Adithya Lanka Holidays.

Afterward, you'll head to your hotel near the airport in NEGOMBO, a picturesque coastal city just 20 minutes away. Here, you can unwind, relax, and overcome any jet lag. Negombo, a vibrant blend of cultures, offers an array of experiences. If you're up for it, your chauffeur guide can introduce you to the city's intriguing sights and landmarks, or you might opt for a tranquil boat ride along the historic Dutch Canal. Day 2: NEGOMBO – CHILAW – KANDY

After breakfast, embark on a visit to the MUNEESHWARAM TEMPLE in Chilaw. Munneswaram is part of the revered Pancha Ishwarams, a group of five ancient coastal Kovils dedicated to Lord Shiva along the island's coastline. Despite enduring periods of destruction and subsequent reconstruction, the temple has stood the test of time admirably. Noteworthy celebrations at the temple include the revered Munneswaram Festival, spanning four weeks, and the Navarathri festival. Following this enlightening visit, continue your journey to KANDY, where you can enjoy leisure time and relaxation.

Day 3: KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA

En route to Nuwara Eliya, pause at the SEETHA AMMAN TEMPLE in Seetha Eliya. This temple holds great significance on the Ramayana trail, being the sole Hindu temple dedicated to Princess Sita in Sri Lanka. Moreover, it stands in proximity to the historic Ashoka Vatika, now renowned as HAKGALA BOTANICAL GARDENS.

Day 4: NUWARA ELIYA - ELLA

After breakfast, journey to ELLA, a renowned town situated atop lofty mountains, celebrated for its awe-inspiring vistas. Marvel at the majestic RAVANA FALLS, an impressive cascade standing approximately 25 meters tall, and acclaimed as the widest waterfall in Sri Lanka. According to local legend, King Ravana concealed Princess Sita within the caves behind the falls. Deep within the Ravana Ella Wildlife Sanctuary, approximately 5 kilometers from the falls, lies the entrance to these caves. In the afternoon, partake in a city tour of Ella, soaking in the charm of the surroundings, and conclude the day with a leisurely evening.

Day 5: ELLA - KATHARAGAMA

This site holds a significant place in the Ramayana Trail, as it is believed that the God of Kataragama arrived from India. Descending from Ella amidst scenic surroundings, arrive at the Kataragama shrine. This shrine is dedicated to God Skanda (Murugan), known as the God of Love and War. Additionally, you'll find shrines devoted to various other deities such as the Murugan temple, Gana Devale, Vishnu Devale, and Suniyam Devale.

Day 6: KATHARAGAMA - GALLE
